I will stamp all over 'credible fighter' Jake Paul - Joshua
The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight round fight which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "break" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to promote next month's boxing match.
Ex two-time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge disparity - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I will break his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Respectful Interaction
Despite these statements, a calm Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically recognized for his theatrics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead attacked ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and called him "ridiculous" after Ngannou turned down a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, at the same time, targeted British opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
Still, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of the sport's biggest financial successes, consistently making huge financial rewards.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in rounds four or five and stated he would prevent the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently being planned for 2026.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury next year," Paul stated.
