Tributes Continue for Rob and Michele Reiner as Medical Examiner's Findings Remain Under Wraps.

Over a fortnight subsequent to the heartbreaking passing of renowned filmmaker Rob Reiner and his wife, photographer Michele Reiner, peers and loved ones continue to honor the duo.

‘Life is Pain Without You’: Cary Elwes Pays Tribute to His Director

Writing on social media, actor Cary Elwes, who starred in Reiner's iconic movie *The Princess Bride*, explained he only now felt prepared to post publicly about his personal sorrow.

"Enough time has gone by that I can now express my sorrow into words," shared Elwes, saying that his introductory moment with Reiner made him fall in love. "When we commenced passing more hours together I understood this was someone I longed to have in my life."

The actor uploaded archival material from the movie, adding that he cannot recall "any day without joy".

"The film is about affection, allegiance and giving. Values that Rob cherished deeply. This is one of the many reasons he was the best person to guide it," Elwes continued.

He also paid tribute Michele Reiner, saying: "Claiming that they were a great team would be an understatement. My heart still pangs every time I recall you." He concluded with a line from *The Princess Bride*: "Sure, death cannot stop true love but existence is agony without you."

Martin Scorsese Remembers a Friend and Collaborator

In a distinct tribute, acclaimed director Martin Scorsese shared memories of Reiner, whom he originally knew in the 1970s.

"Right away, I loved hanging out with Rob. We had a instant connection for each other. He was uproarious and sometimes bitingly funny, but he was never the kind of guy who would dominate the room," Scorsese said.

Scorsese mentioned Reiner's supporting role in his 2013 film *The Wolf of Wall Street*, portraying the father of the protagonist.

"He could improvise with the best. He was a master at comedy, he worked wonderfully with the cast, and he understood the emotional dilemma of his character," Scorsese noted.

Judicial Actions: Autopsy Reports Restricted

This week, a Los Angeles court official agreed to bar the disclosure of the Reiners' post-mortem findings, at the request from the local authorities.

A judicial mandate placed a restriction on the cases to prohibit the public release of "related notes, documents, files or images" associated with the active case.

The relevant authority had already determined their deaths were the result of homicide, with a record citing the cause as "injuries from a sharp object".

Aftermath and Reactions

After the killings, public personalities shared divergent reactions.

Ex-President Donald Trump wrote on the matter, offering controversial remarks that were widely condemned by several commentators.

Podcaster Joe Rogan added his criticism to the critics recently. Conversing on his podcast, Rogan labeled the comments as "disturbing" and implied they demonstrated a worrisome lack of empathy.

Rogan ended by remarking that an associate ought to have stepped in when the choice to speak on the death was made.
